The Coast node creates a coastal region on the terrain. The coast can be either a smooth transition (beaches) or a strong transition (cliffs).
A systematic coast may not always look realistic. Try using a mask to affect certain areas only, or combine multiple Coast nodes with masks.
Properties
Intensity | Flattening intensity of the coastal area. |
Water Level | Relative water level by which coastal erosion is applied. You can enter a precise height such as `500m` by right-clicking. |
Beach Size | Width of the flattened or beach area between the central body and the coast. |
Transition | Controls how smoothly the beach transitions into the mainland. |
