The Coast node creates a coastal region on the terrain. The coast can be either a smooth transition (beaches) or a strong transition (cliffs).

A systematic coast may not always look realistic. Try using a mask to affect certain areas only, or combine multiple Coast nodes with masks.

Node Properties

IntensityFlattening intensity of the coastal area.
Water LevelRelative water level by which coastal erosion is applied. You can enter a precise height such as 500m by right-clicking.
Beach SizeWidth of the flattened or beach area between the central body and the coast.
TransitionControls how smoothly the beach transitions into the mainland.
